CMI ranked first in Merco Guatemala’s 2026 Corporate Reputation Ranking and second in the Merco Guatemala Responsibility Ranking, reflecting its continued commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable value creation.
In the fourth edition of the study presented by Merco in Guatemala, CMI secured first place among the companies with the strongest corporate reputation in the country and second place among Guatemala’s most responsible companies. These results reaffirm the organization’s leadership and the strength of a values-driven management model focused on generating a positive impact in every community where it operates.
Merco is one of Ibero-America’s leading corporate reputation monitors. Its methodology integrates multiple stakeholder perspectives and objective indicators to assess companies’ reputation and performance. In Guatemala, the evaluation incorporated the views of business executives, consumers, financial analysts, journalists, academics, civil society organizations, and public-sector representatives, complemented by an analysis of objective business indicators and companies’ digital presence.
The ranking also recognized the country’s top corporate communications teams for their role in effectively conveying information and contributing to the development and preservation of strong corporate reputations over time. In this category, CMI earned third place, adding another distinction to the strategic communications efforts that support and strengthen the corporation’s reputation.
